00820 Dawn on the Coast

     I am painting aspects of our native flora and fauna that will demonstrate at least one of the reasons we need to keep our natural world intact.  Marshes are one of the mechanisms that protects our maritime forest from erosion.  Painting in the time of this global pandemic allows me to seek out nature in the raw.  Although one may look at this shore behind the marsh and think it is a Chamber of Commerce arrangement, this scene formed naturally.
